Pinto is a bean who lives in a crowded, noisy place called Legumeopolis. The way Pinto sees it, there’s a lot to be upset about. By helping his fellow beans, Pinto learns that he’s not alone in his struggle.
This short had a wonderful international film festival run in 2023. Notably, it’s West Coast Premiere took place at the 26th Annual Dances with Films festival in June 2023 at the iconic TCL Chinese Theatres in Los Angeles, CA.
Also, Pinto the Mean Bean won Best Animation at the Farm to Film Fest in Iowa, USA and was nominated for Best Oregon Short at the Portland Festival of Cinema, Animation, and Technology which took place at OMSI in Portland, OR in August 2023.

Pinto the Mean Bean also showed for 3 months at Hollywood Theatre at the PDX International Airport. It screened in the Winter 2024 shorts program from January through March.
