I have a new musical project called Quoin (pronounced coin) and will be playing 2 shows next week in the Pacific Northwest with Joseph Dee Bradshaw.
Thursday, 4/9/26: Eugene @ Breakthrough Hall @ Pavilanis School of Music with Joseph Dee Bradshaw
Friday, 4/10/26: Portland @ Performance Works NW with Joseph Dee Bradshaw, Hanna Broback + Noel Kennon. 7pm. $15.
Joseph Dee Bradshaw is a guitarist based in Oakland. His first solo album, The Conversion, released in 2025, features several long-form acoustic fingerstyle compositions. On his second album, The Lavender Promise (forthcoming later this year), he continues the fingerstyle explorations with a more improvisational approach, offering up several spontaneously composed pieces. Aside from his solo work, he is (alongside poet/theraminist Andrew Joron) one half of the free improv duo Fornax Linteum. Their self-titled EP is forthcoming imminently. https://josephdeebradshaw.bandcamp.com/album/the-conversion
I’m in the middle of producing a music video for Quoin. This clip contains over 500 individual 8.5” crayon drawings that I scanned into my computer. The finished video will consist of over 1800 crayon drawings.
The song called “From One Thought To Another” is about a telepathic love connection.
Quoin (pronounced coin) @quoin_music is the name of my new musical project. I wrote and recorded 13 songs in 2 months (January-February 2026) and am currently mixing the album.
I hadn’t written any songs from a personal perspective in years so I was surprised when inspiration started knocking back in January.
I felt a certain duty to channel it the best I could while it was flowing. I’m excited to share the record with you in the next month when it’s ready.
